This will be the first of many carpet washer reviews that I’ll be doing over the next few weeks. The first carpet washer we are going to be looking at is the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner. Before we get into the actual review though lets take a quick look at the basic description. The Hoover SteamVac is a great home carpet washer that will help save you a lot of time and money compared to borrowing or renting a carpet washer yourself every time you want to clean your rugs, upholstery, or carpet. It has a very nice 12 Amp motor that can be set to the obvious high or low settings and comes with a nice selection of brushes to use based on what you want to clean. Another great thing about this carpet washer is that it comes included with some carpet cleaning solution that is very easy to spray on the carpet via a button on the main handle. Not every stain will come out right away when using the basic spray method and that’s where this machine really shines as the best carpet washer. It has a system called Clean Surge which sends a predetermined additional amount of the clean fluid on to the stain via another button located right on the handle. After you’ve applied enough of the carpet solution you can switch that off and run the carpet washer back and forth a few times to really pull the stain out. The particular model even puts some hot air into the mix to help.Obviously it has two water compartments, one for the used and dirty water and another with the clean water. It even automatically combined the cleaning solution so you don’t have to worry about the proper mixture. Also included is a 8 foot hose to clean other things like stairs, drapes, of furniture. As expected a one year warranty is included.

As far as the actual review goes I always check Amazon out because instead of just taking one persons word for it you usually can take a few hundred or even thousand reviews to really get an idea of how good this carpet washer is. Amazon is currently showing around 1235 reviews and of those 829 of them gave it 5 stars. That’s a huge number to back peoples thought’s on this being the best carpet washer. The only thing that worries me and you can check out some of the individual reviews is that 57 people only gave it one star.
